“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”
- Carl Rogers
My approach to therapy is rooted in warmth, authenticity, and genuine connection. I create a space where you can show up as you are, without judgment. Together, we’ll explore how your past experiences influence your present, fostering self-awareness and gently noticing patterns that may no longer serve you. I see myself as a collaborative guide, highlighting your strengths and challenges to help you gain new perspectives and clarity.
A key part of our work may involve examining and unlearning societal “rules” and expectations that have shaped your life. By questioning, reflecting, and creating new paths, we’ll work to align your life with your unique needs, values, and aspirations. Therapy to me is a process of self-discovery and transformation—a journey that often involves curiosity, humor and laughter, deep reflection, and, at times, emotional heaviness. I believe this work can be both deeply moving and delightfully playful, often at the same time.
I also believe that healing starts with feeling—truly feeling—all emotions, even the deeply uncomfortable ones. My role is to support you in sitting with these emotions with compassion and gently stepping away from avoidance or rumination. Therapy with me offers a space where both vulnerability and authenticity can thrive—whether we’re processing trauma, crying happy tears about your progress, or discussing the best coloring books (yes, I have recs).
Ultimately, I see therapy as a partnership. My goal is for you to feel truly seen, supported, and safe to explore all parts of yourself. I am committed to creating a space that honors your unique identity and lived experience. I bring my own commitment to self-compassion, growth, and embracing imperfection into our work, and I am here to walk alongside you every step of the way as you navigate life’s complexities.
