  • Yes! I offer free 15-minute phone consultations to prospective clients so we can both see if we’re a good fit.

  • I offer therapy sessions to adults, adolescents, and couples.

  • My fee is $200 per 45-minute session.

    I offer a limited number of reduced fee spots for clients who are a great fit for my practice but cannot afford my full fee. If you can afford my full fee, please know that paying it makes it possible for me to see more clients in need of lower fees. Everyone deserves quality therapy!

  • I do not accept insurance, but I can provide you with a superbill to send in to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement if you have a PPO plan.

  • A superbill is an itemized list of services you have received from an out-of-network provider that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Every insurance plan is different, so it’s a good idea to contact your insurance provider to find out what your specific plan covers when it comes to out-of-network psychotherapy.

  • In our first one or two sessions, we’ll spend time talking about your history—unless there is something more urgent that needs to be addressed. Exploring your childhood, family dynamics, relationships, and life experiences helps provide valuable context and insight that we can reflect on as we address your current challenges.

    After those initial sessions, we’ll shift focus more to the present (although connections to the past are frequently revealed along the way). Each session is a space for you to share anything that has come up recently—whether it’s something joyful, challenging, or anything in between. Within these conversations, we often find threads that guide us deeper into understanding you, your patterns, and your beliefs about yourself and the world. Some of the most illuminating sessions start with a client saying, “I have no idea what to talk about!”

  • If after a few sessions (or at any point) you feel that our sessions aren’t valuable or helpful, or if you sense that we just don’t “vibe”—that’s completely okay! You have not failed therapy, I promise. If you’re feeling this way, please know that sharing your feelings with me will always be met with understanding, never anger or resentment. If there are adjustments I can make to better support you, let’s explore that together. If therapy just doesn’t feel like your thing, that’s completely okay—I will lovingly send you back into the world with some ideas to care for your emotional well-being. And if we’re simply not the right fit, I’m more than happy to provide referrals to other awesome therapists who might be a better match for you.

  • Ah, the age-old question. The truth is, it’s entirely up to you (I know, kind of annoying). How long you stay in therapy depends on what you’re hoping to gain, learn, or change, what you’re able to afford financially, and what therapy means to you. I’ve had clients who felt they got what they needed within six months, and others who have been in therapy with me for years.

    There’s no “right” way to do this, and it’s okay to figure it out as you go. My person-centered and relational style is best suited for clients who are open to being in therapy for at least a few months, if not longer. If you’re looking for a more short-term, in-and-out approach, you may benefit from finding a therapist who specializes in brief or solution-focused therapy.
